Benefits of Rolfing & CST

"We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time” ~ T.S. Elliot

Rolfing® SI deals with discomfort related to things we do in everyday life such as sitting, standing, walking, sleeping, and exercising. People of all ages and walks of life can benefit from Rolfing® SI. Over time, our ability to stay vertically balanced is compromised by physical and emotional stress, habitual postures, repetitive movements, injuries, accidents, and illnesses. At first, we may not be aware of tensions and imbalances in our structure; they happen gradually as our collective experiences are expressed through our physical shape. However, as our tissues compensate for strain patterns and poor movement habits, more energy is required to get through each day and pain or limitations often follow.

This work is also an excellent foundation for and complement to yoga, Pilates and other personal wellness practices. Rolfing® SI and Craniosacral Therapy can lead to profound changes in your body and can help with:

  • Neck and back pain

  • Migraine, headache or TMJ issues

  • Injuries from: car accident, sports, concussion

  • Stress, anxiety symptoms, or depression

  • Unexplained pain or fatigue

  • Learning disabilities

You can expect from the work:

  • Enhanced recovery from injury or trauma

  • Improved flexibility, mobility, coordination, and balance

  • Improved posture

  • Enhanced sense of body awareness

  • Feeling more grounded and centered

  • Hope that continued healing is possible
